All one needs to do is watch their election night coverage from November 2024. The whole news team was cheering for Kamela and when it was evident that Trump was going to win they went into meltdown mode. The gay guy was almost in tears as he told us Trump would destroy our country.

The Biden campaign made another huge mistake. They demanded the debate be held at CNNLOL. They thought this would give them the cover needed to gaslight America. Stacked with Axelrod, King, Van Jones, Cooper and the rest, they felt safe.

But then Biden bombed and his 8 biggest supporters sat there shell shocked like they had PTSD and begged Joe Biden to step down in front of 40 million Americans. Democrats! Begging Joe to go away on national TV, practically weeping. The defeat was palpable and It Was Glorious.

I remember when Tucker Carlson had Antifa in front of his house threatening his family, Cuomo was the only CNN/MSNBC reporter to condemn Antifa in the strongest way possible and stood up for Tucker. They were the first cracks that he is fed up.

I am a 15 year video operator. There is one issue you didn't mention that I instruct all of our video operators on. If you make a slide mistake (you went too soon or you are missing a slide, or the worship leader skipped a verse) - NEVER go back and forth with video running. Nothing says I'm an idiot like the video guy clicking forward, then backward, then forward, trying to find his spot with 400 people watching in amusement. Be sure to mute the video, find your spot & then bring the video back up. If it is a case of you going a bit too soon, don't back up. Stay where you are and they will catch up. I go nutz when I see video guys jumping the slides around during a song.

You chose to select Joseph Prince as a target for your blog post, but you could have aimed it at John Piper, Matt Chandler, Tullian Tchividjian, Mark Driscoll, Francis Chan, Paul Tripp, Jared Wilson, Michael Horton,John Ortberg, Tim Keller or a few others.

All of those men are widely respected in the grace* teaching movement of this generation. (* renamed hyper-grace by you).

You chose the weakest link in the Grace preaching movement for a reason. It is because you don't stand a chance going up against any of the other men I listed.

You are leading us right back to works based salvation that requires at least a smidgen of effort on our part to enter into The Kingdom of God.

Don't stretch the truth Brian, your version of what took place is not Biblical. Pilate, as a keeper of Roman laws, did not want to kill Jesus. He flat out said so. Jesus broke no Roman law so Pilate had no desire to kill Jesus. Pilate capitulated to Jewish leaders and assumed that they would want to kill a robber more than Jesus. Pilate's assumption was that the Jews would want the robber killed. His assumption was wrong, but he never condemned Jesus. #WashedHisHands

The Devil laughs every time we think that a "timeout" is biblical discipline. You should be the one weeping.

I hate doing bulk pastes, but you asked me to. Christ quotes the O.T. and it is foolish to think that Christ disagrees with any of the wisdom given in the OT.

Prov 13.24 - Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.

Prov 22.15 - Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.

Prov 23.13-14 - Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die. If you strike him with the rod, you will save his soul from Sheol.

Prov 29.15-16 - The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother. When the wicked increase, transgression increases, but the righteous will look upon their downfall. Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart.

Hebrews 12.6-7 - "the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son. Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?"

Hebrews 12.11 - Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

The Bible talks about discipline in love, and points to God the Father as the example of loving discipline.
Loving discipline may include spanking but spanking done properly is not abuse.

I don't write long posts like yours and in my brevity, my meaning is lost. I am sorry that I mislead you. I was born & raised in a Fundamentalist church. I have no doubt that abuses were going on. Only recently I found out about a sexual abuse that occurred in that church I attended way back when I was a kid there. I've seen video's and read many articles of men abusing their kids 'in the name of God'. You do not need to convince me that Christians abuse kids. Christian abuse kids and spouses, they are bigots, they steal and divorces are no different among Christians than anywhere else.
I was attempting to say that I believe the Bible teaches that spanking may be proper at times and that there is a proper way to do it. It can be done in love. It can be done in a non-abusive way, I saw it first hand and that was my point. I loved my Dad as a best friend until the day he died. He never abused me. We took vacations together with my parents until last year when he left this earth. I respect no man higher than him. That is not the attitude of a victim or a victim in denial. There was never any numbness in my Dad. I'm really sorry to think you had to endure that.
I am not condoning violence or abuse in the name of Christianity.
