I got a Brusali and I like it a lot in theory - it seems pretty stable/not flimsy, and reasonably stylish, but it is absolutely not designed for men's size 12 shoes. The doors wouldn''t even close.

I don't exactly keep a database of other banks that aren't my own and whether or not they have coin machines. I'm just saying, the only mention in this article of banks having machines at all was that TD Bank no longer has them.

If I were writing this article, I would say something like "Check to see if your bank or CU has a coin-counting machine. Not every bank, or every branch, has a machine, but if yours does there's generally no fees for members. If your bank doesn't, there's always the gift card option at Coinstar."

TD Bank is hardly the only bank that has (or, I suppose, had) coin counting machines. Every branch of my credit union has one. I can think of several other banks locally that have coin counting machines in at least some of their branches. It's certainly not every bank or branch out there, but they're definitely out there. Some banks will charge non-account holders to use them; I think my CU charges 5%. Either way it's less than Coinstar's 12%.

This really does sound like a Coinstar ad.

Dead simple, reusable, you won't get sprayed like Daniel did in the video, and you can just toss it in the dishwasher to clean when you're done. It's a very fine mesh so nothing is getting through.
