Hang in there. Despite unemployment at a low it's still tough for folks with our background looking for jobs. I'm currently freelancing for the first time in my career. And yes, the lack of communication (or ghosting) many companies display after interviews is a bummer, but you just haveta keep forging ahead.

The "unpredictable live shows" was more a nod to them pulling out surprises and such. And fun guest appearances. But also, and this was more in their earlier phase, there were a few drunkenly sloppy gigs, but even those were a blast. By the end, though, every single show they played was 100% amazing.

I suspect Blake would still describe them as "one of the best bands ever," too.

I honestly don't know what was up with the drink ticket lines on Friday, they did seem really long. But that didn't seem to happen Saturday or Sunday. As for the bathrooms, it depended on where you went. There were no lines by the ones off the Flatstock area ... I think it was maybe just people unwilling to walk far from where they ere sitting (or unaware of other bathroom locations)?

Either way, there always seem to be Friday hiccups so I didn't really feel the need to highlight them since they were solved by Saturday morning. I am sorry the experience bummed you out though. Especially if you missed Dirty Projectors. That sucks.

Oddly, for an album with this many anthems, it's actually a grower. I think that's why I wanted to write on it; almost to help my understand why it was having the effect on me that it was.

To me it will always be World Music Theater.

I will admit, it had been years since I was last there because I really disliked the venue, but when I was there last year I was impressed that they'd finally gotten the sound issues sorted out.
