The question is, what percentage of the populace would remain timid and stuff most or all of this into savings or a fixed-rate CD or similar? Some would (I would put a lot of it away...) but I think you're right, most would spend the majority of it.

Would it work? Well, that's another question. It's an interesting idea, for sure.

#3: Push updates are coming in the fall, should (mostly) resolve that issue. I'm sure there are going to be some things it does not solve.

#5: If you are typing on your phone while you're driving, you're just plain irresponsible. Pay attention to the road, and realize you're operating a giant lethal weapon. If you kill somebody, their family will not find solace in the fact that at least you finished that blog post while you were crushing their loved one's skull under your wheels.
