Now Google Voice has the ability to SMS up to five (5) contacts simultaneously - thanks though, this was my old workaround before (the old workaround allows for more than 5 actually)

Right, that's why I was asking Guest "was there still a fee for buying the gift cards". Usually, there is an activation or purchase fee of between $3.95 and $6.95. On $100, this is between 3.95% and 6.95% ... higher than most 0% APR balance transfers which have fees that are usually around 3%.

Yes, even if it isn't cold hard numbers, the qualitative data from interacting with your consumers (via social media) can provide insight into a lot of these things.

Oh ok, the number of 20 kWh that I used is hypothetical anyway. That number is not intended to be indicative of the actual average number of kWh that are produced every year. Actual production may vary. Just insert a different number if you want to play around with the equation to calculate the breakeven point. No purchase necessary. Batteries not included. Sorry, getting just a little carried away with the disclaimer.

Wow, interesting approach. This method may be better than using a cash advance or balance transfer to "purchase cash" and then pay back that amount with the "cash" you "purchased."

Since you used an AMEX charge card to buy the AMEX gift cards, was there still a fee for buying the gift cards (or was it waived since you were buying AMEX gift cards with an AMEX charge card)?

Very true once you remove the subsidy ... and take into consideration all the other variables you mentioned, such as degradation, inverter replacement costs, etc. By the way, what type of work do you do at URS? I'm an engineer myself (mechanical engineer). I'm guessing there are a lot of projects in the civil engineering end of things.

The character limitation forces you to be brief and attention grabbing in your marketing via texting ... almost like a short headline to pique the curiosity of the person receiving the text message. This reply/comment is a terrible example of that. :P

That's a great question - I don't know the exact algorithm that they use to generate the random sequence of characters after the two phone numbers.

Also, it should be noted that you can only reply to these e-mail addresses from the e-mail where your SMS texts are forwarded to. For example, if your SMS texts are forwarded to youremail@gmail.com, then you can only reply from youremail@gmail.com. You cannot go ahead and reply from another e-mail, such as yourotheremail@gmail.com, yourotheremail@yahoo.com, yourotheremail@hotmail.com, etc. (although, technically this might work with the "Send as" feature in Gmail ... I've never tried that before though ... and I don't want to confuse anyone any further haha).
