God's favor would no longer be just to that race since Jesus was finally born (so God's purpose for that people was fulfilled... he used to Mosaic Law as a protection for them so that the Messiah would be born in effort that thru him all people have the opportunity to live forever as God originally purposed with Adam and Eve.) see following scriptures for reference: God's purpose: Gen 1:28; Psalms 37:11, 29; then see Isaiah 45:18 to see that Earth will always have inhabitants. ALWAYS. (Also: God hasn't changed his purpose: Malachi 3:6); His purpose will not fail: Isaiah 45:10,11)

The new covenant Jesus made doesn't mean Mosaic Law is wrong or should be completely disregarded; God made all those rules to begin with to keep the Israelites separate and healthy so of course it's universal... its just that now, Jesus new covenant made most dealings a conscience matter... like whether you eat shell fish or not... it's a personal decision... same with pig. As long as you are not eating blood which is condemned: Genesis 9:4; Acts 15:20. So i feel you on your family culture... it's a personal choice and is just fine.

As far as homosexuality, that's a serious matter and of course as neighbors we don't treat gays any differently but it's not the same as eating shellfish or sumn... check out these scriptures that back me up: 1Corinthians 6:9,10; 2Thessalonians 1:8,9.

The Apostle Paul talks more on conscious matters like what you eat: 1Cor 10:23-33 --- you will find this pretty interesting~* :-)

-----------------------------------

Further, my main point Achali is for each to honestly do their own research... many ignore or refuse to acknowledge what could be right in front of their face; I am not downing anyone but encouraging all to do their own personal research. I teach World History and have read the holy books including the Bible, Book of Mormon, Quran, plus Buddhist and Hindu books in search for truth. I have noticed many similarities and would be willing to share them with you if you really wanted to hear. I also have examined their differences... I love knowledge so I am open minded and love to hear more from you tho it may seem draining, we can take one subject at a time!~* It IS worthwhile..!! and LMAO @ defending Messiah!! That's my dude BUT there's NO bandwagon; real recognizes real; thats all! Much love. *1*

Re: Messiah: "In The AM" [video]

I second your comments Messiah. Your lyrics go beyond its phrases; You are not superficial like the rest of them.

Re: Messiah: "In The AM" [video]

i beg to differ... as far as ppl in the pulpit not being faultless. they must be blameless. not perfect, but blameless. they must also be humble and live lowly. no flashy-ness... they have to resemble Jesus... Check out what Jesus said about religious leaders in his day, they are STILL the same today. You'd find this pretty interesting: Matt 6:5-9; and Matthew chapter 23. He goes OFF on them! Real talk. 1

Re: Messiah: "In The AM" [video]

The Bible is more universal than we think. So whether you think you believe in it or not, really, you do believe in it! We were created in God's image so our logic is like that of God's.. so truth isn't remote. The Bible is universal... that's why the religions of the world all reflect its principles tho they may not believe they do. Messiah's song is likewise universal. The truth is the truth. It sets you free tho' we see ppl shy away or throw stones at it.

Furthermore, like Messiah, people should exert themselves in search of truth more vigorously cus as Jesus said in Matt 7:14... "narrow is the gate and cramped is the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." That has NOT changed. The majority of the world is alienated from God- not taking Truth seriously. Everyone tryna find reasons to DO THINGS THEIR WAY and NOT according to God's original arrangement and purpose. Some even promote that all religion and form of worship is acceptable to God. But please know that God is not changing for no one so if people don't get with it, esp those who practice grave sins like homosexuality AND fornication, then he'll jus eliminate them like he did before in various Bible accounts. A small percentage of people actually do know the truth and less than half of them practice it. I'll jus end with that thought. If you don't believe me, question me... OPEN your eyes people!

Re: Messiah: "In The AM" [video]

The Bible does NOT contradict itself. Many are just NOT blessed with Holy Spirit to understand and interpret the Word. The truth is within everyone's grasp but you must have the right heart condition and motives in order for God to allow understanding. That is why the Bible advises us to PRAY for understanding because if the holy spirit is not in your midst, sorry, you will never understand the simple things of God. And trust me, there are NO mysteries... Religious leaders want you to believe there are. That's how they eat. Anyway, please don't compare the little details of the now obsolete Mosaic Law to grave sins such as homosexuality and men with unnatural purposes.

Finally, you seem to feel that acceptance of homosexuality would help the community and not tear it apart. Google the remains of Soddom and Gommorah are... is there a city in existence there? Also- the city of Babylon... God said the nation would never rise again after he destroyed it from its homosexuality, false gods, tattooing-etc... is there civilization there? What was the world like before God flooded it once Noah and his fam were in the ark? Maybe once you prove the Bible's history to yourself thru research (in World Encyclopedias and the various tools and resources we have at hand today) to the point of accepting the Bible as truth in its entirety, then it will be logical to see what God hates. It's bigger than homosexuality; but if you want to take offense, do your research first. BUT remember to pray for understanding before your embark in such an enlightening journey! Good luck! :)

P.S.- if you would like me to back up everything I have said via scriptures, let me know!~ (2Tim 3:16,17)
