While the panel will share some of the ways you can bring your classroom to space, let's enable this moment as an on opportunity to hear your thoughts and ideas throughout the conference. Really looking forward to this!

Re: SXSW PanelPicker®

I'll sit in on this one. I am shocked at how much was covered that the students were able to retain and implement first hand. If you have a community maker space or library, you will want to go to this presentation and implement it in your area!

Re: My Path Once Again Goes In A New Direction

CC - I've followed you since the MoU days when I worked with Reuben. The world we live in is changing faster than we realize. Teaching is a passionate profession, and with MOOCs, you can extend what you know to many. We currently enable middle and high school students the ability to program satellites in low earth orbit, introduce microcontrollers and 3D printers to teachers that want to shake up there current pedagogies, and are exploring what it takes to introduce desktop genomics into high school. Not sure if it would go anywhere, or if you have an interest in getting involved, but I'd love your take on what we are up to at summer.org.

Re: California Cop tickets woman for driving with Google Glass

Cars need HUDs.

Re: » News from Supercell

Congratulations Ilkka & Supercell!

Re: The best indie games of 2012 | VentureBeat

Can't believe you completely missed Hawken.

Re: AmEx to Offer a Prepaid Debit Card That Rewards Users in FarmVille Cash

Japan's Consumer Agency made a certain type of collectible action ("Complete Gacha") illegal in digital games just last week.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Hits NYC June 8, Everywhere Else June 17

Loving my Google I/O model. Now, if the decision maker does not see value in the core value offering, then the product does not meet the buyer's needs, and therefore, no sale.

From my earliest days in sales out of college we learned to "sell what is in stock". Sometimes it is the failure of the salesperson for not driving home the features/advantages/benefits, not the buyer for wanting a feature of perceived value.

Re: http://blog.games.com/2011/04/21/playmatics-shadow-government-will-incoporate-real-world-news-an/

Congrats to Margaret and her team! I've always wondered how you were able to keep up with it. I look at my boys, and they have become quite adroit at the new and evolving tech that can influence how they work with media. Perhaps it is just the course of human events that the next wave of innovation will need to be tracked by others that are less encumbered?

Re: Guitar Hero Didn’t Die A Natural Death, But Was Killed By Myopic Greed

Get ready for CoD: micro-transactions. Nice conversation. I agree with Cordiva - subscribing selectively helps reduce the echo. I am, for the most part, a lurker - learning by reading/listening. With FF, I've quickly noticed those that make news and those that echo it. FF empowers me to filter that noise out.

Re: First Storytellers, Then Storytelling

Fantastic insight Brooks.
