I've come around on Jugulator. It's not my favorite by any stretch, but I appreciate its heaviness, and often wonder if the album would have been better received with Halford still in the band. Or would those songs even still exist as is with him in the band?

Listening to it now. It's definitely more Supercharger than Burning Red to my ears. I think the solo, acoustic version of "Bastards" that Robb posted to youtube (shortly after the election, I think) was better than what's on the record and being described as a Dropkick Murphys song.

I didn't know things you left at a grave actually stayed at the grave. I just assumed the cemetery groundskeepers cleaned that stuff up after awhile.

I feel like I should know what band logo you're referring to (those horizontal spikes off the N look familiar), but I can't conjure it in my brain. It certainly doesn't look like Entombed or Dismember. What am I forgetting?

Fair enough. I can't say I've read many Hate reviews, but I can imagine that too much of that would create an association between the two bands with readers and listeners.

Interesting that you compared them to Behemoth, who started out as a black metal band that became death metal, and here you have Hate doing the opposite.
