Does the current BA Visa offer work for people who redeemed the 100K BA Visa last year? I cancelled my card earlier this year. Wondering if I'll be eligible for the 100K again this year?

I'm trying to book an available reward flight for October. Once I've chosen my dates and hit continue, I always get hit with the error message:

Retrieved currency codes is incomplete.

Any thoughts?

Redeeming BA is looking difficult. I got the 100K miles and am trying to look for something in June/July. Is that typically too early for reward flights?

If I call Chase and try to get them to approve me for the card, will they still honor the 50K mile promo (since I applied/was denied before the May 15 cut off) ?

awesome library! i noticed calling mPageControl.setCurrentPage(1) updates the page control position, but it doesn't update the view. How would I go about doing that?

So looks like Chase denied my request because I opened up too many Chase cards this month (I was approved for the BA card). Will being denied hurt my credit score? If so, by how much?

just wanted to confirm that 100K miles have been posted to my BA account after my first months usage. I received the 50K first purchase bonus and 50K for spending $2.5K. It posted to my existing BA account :)

Just curious, I plan on hanging on to this card, but can the miles be redeemed without having the Chase card on hand?

Thanks. Once Continental merges with United will these miles expire after 18 months? Currently Continental miles don't expire...

I have a Continental OnePass account from flying with them, but have never signed up for a Chase Continental credit card. I just received my Chase British Airways credit card. Am I still eligible for the 50K miles on first purchase? I noticed this verbage in the terms:

"This one-time bonus offer is valid only for first-time Continental Airlines personal Cardmembers with new accounts. Previous and existing Continental Airlines personal Cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for this bonus offer. "

I just received my card. I called to activate, and they told me that I'm not eligible for the 50K bonus miles nor the 50K miles for spending $2.5K in the first 3 months. This is my first Chase card, and first credit card with British Airways. The marketing team is looking into it, and it will take 10 days for them to communicate back to me. Any thoughts why I am not eligible?

How long did it take to receive the card? I was approved on April 16, 2011 but haven't received the card yet.

The offer says:

"50,000 bonus miles after your first purchase — enough for two round-trip reward tickets within the U.S. (excluding Hawaii) and Canada.*"

Are they just trying to provide a frame of reference here, or is it limited to US excluding Hawaii and Canada?
