I was deleted for not being famous enough.

This week I was featured in the Wall Street Journal, The LA Times and The Boston Phoneix. Am I famous enough for Wikipedia now?

Mike Miliard of The Phoenix writes: "If anyone can be called the father of video blogging, Steve Garfield is him. And not just because his vlog was one of the first. Do I need to ask him to write the entry, if writing it about yourself is considered vanity?

I went over to the Hipcast conference center in SL, for vloggercon, and fell into the water.

But I got back up.

It took me 30 minutes to put on a hat.

I like flying around.

Try virtually attending vloggercon today and see what that's like.

I suppose you'll compress it with something like H.264 and them make your content available in many different flavors so people will be able to comsume it however and where ever they'd like.

The largest files will be downloaded to my computer while I sleep by some type of aggregator which may or may not make use of a bit torrent type of protocol.

There'll be a special feed you'll have to distribute your content to third parties who will then distribute your content to me via some type of connected TV device like Akimbo, XBOX, Playstation, or computer.

Then you'll also make content available in a Flash/QT/WMV format for people who want to subscribe via RSS 2.0 or watch online.

And you'll probably want to make some cell phone / mobile device content too.

I'm sure there will be other formats too...

For example, you searched for “learn German vlog?”

and got nothing.

If you try if without quotes you get 95,600 hits and my friend Clark oc Saturn's German Class Vlog comes up all over the first two pages:

Hi,
I saw you comment on my mom's blog. That was really nice. It's so cool that so many more people can see how excited she is by learning new things and meeting new people.

She was just telling me that when she started blogging, she had no fear. Like Arinana Huffington, my mom is fearless!

As for the Hyatt San Jose, this MOTEL was a big dissapointment. The staff was frazzled and didn't care. It was the small things and that big things that that failed at.

No morning newspaper at my door, internet connection in the room was broken for my whole stay.

One last thing, my mom read the onine reviews and told be before we checked in that people saw cockroaches here.

I saw a cockroach the size of a Buick walking down the hallway. Hyatt should be ashamed to have their brand on this hotel.

Nice post.

When I started my blog, there was no need to limit it to a certain category.

It was just a blog about 'what we talked about at lunch.'

Same goes for my videoblog. I'm comfortable having my blog be about everything and anything.

I have recently started cross posting a show, Vlog Soup, to it's own blog becuase people ahve asled for an easy way to find all those episodes, but I'll still blog about everything and anything.

Hey Casey,

Don't you rely on my Vlog Soup for finding new video podcasts?

A few people have told me that they rely on Vlog Soup for finding out about new video podcasts.

I think it's because I take the time to put together a show of those video posdcasts that I like or new ones that I have found that seem like fun.

It's all about being a trusted filter.

As for Amigofish, they don't include the url used in the LINK element of an rss item and only display the enclosure link. I'd prefer that they link to the permalink of my blog post since that has all kinds of bloggy goodness like information about the video and links to sites and topics covered in the video.
