I wouldn't eat anything prepared by someone with those nasty claws. Imagine all the rotting food particles and miscellaneous bacterial grossness that's lodged beneath those disgusting talons! And I'm not gonna even think about what happens when those hooks spear through (or poke around the sides of) the toilet paper.... YUK!

I think Chestnut Street failed because it never really felt like the street was closed, because it remained open for buses. And so it still looked like a street that pedestrians ought not walk in, for fear of getting run down by a bus; and so pedestrians remained on either the north sidewalk or the south sidewalk, just as if it were any other Center City street. What needs to be done is to be completely shut down from traffic/buses (with access for emergency vehicles, of course), and the street / sidewalk re-paved/concreted so that people feel completely comfortable walking down the middle of what used to be the street. Had the city done that with Chestnut Street back then, I think it would've worked.

You're a really good writer. You just need to work a bit on the grammar and spelling. Once you know the rules, then you can break 'em. But first you gotta know 'em. But you really are a good writer, nonetheless.
