it's so annoying when people complain though.
side characters make the story here. as far as OP characters go, Ains is quite interesting, but we still have unshakable faith that he will not be defeated. so where does drama fit in with that? the side stories. the side characters that get the spotlight. fine, you can think climb is boring. he is cliche, but cliche's are cliche because that's just how things work. i sure as hell would hope that if someone saved you from the brink of death and gave you a place to live, was beautiful, etc. you wouldn't just say "FU i'm out!" would that make climb more interesting? arguably, sure. but then i wouldn't like him anymore. thus would not be interested. same with you all i am sure.

personally i am heartened that there are SOME humans not ENTIRELY pathetic to nazarik.
i mean they werent fighting sebas and i know that only non-humans will be able to put up a decent fight, but it still is good to see...

you are right. i think it just goes to show that those tropes only work okay in side characters. despite the fact that he seems to fit the generic mold, he is something more. i mean unlike many of these guys he actually ACKNOWLEDGES that he as no talents or redeeming qualities. it is refreshing. and i look forward to him developing a personality... unless he finds out renner's true nature and is depressed by it...

"the reason his armor didn't make much sound..." is because unless you jump up and down in plate it should fit you like a second skin and only make a slight "wisk" sound from plates sliding across each other.... I'm sorry, but stuff like that is a hobby of mine and i can't leave things unsaid...

how are climb and stronoff boring? i find them fascinating as examples of what they represent; a well-trained talented individual and a driven, not talented individual...
also, Ainz can't really give us an understanding of the world, he see human he stomp. his perspective is always going to be humans = bugs in strength, but he likes them on some level. also, how long would we have to wait to meet the princess or the king to get an idea of the political situation? Momon hasn't been to the capital yet! Ainz certtainly isn't going and sebas is supposed to be careful about his snooping and so doesn't learn a whole lot...

how about you grow an appreciation for plot and side characters and shut up about all that. i personally thought this chapter was great! we get a bit more info on martial arts, we meet a new side character who interacts with a previous side character in an interesting way, and we get a feel for the general political scene. how is any of that bad?!

i'm sorry author-san, but full-plate armor is NOT very restricting of movement. it is less of an agility debuff than chain. what it does do is increase stamina use, but with a little practice it becomes almost unnoticeable. i mean, you fight and you get tired. if anyone is interested, look up "knight in an obstacle course" on youtube. it illustrates that plate is not much of a hindrance to movement

also, i have been wondering if the creators chose "Masuhiro" because it sounds like "master hero"
