If the suit was compromised in space, then this means that the space program's websites, web applications and everything involved online can be a target of DDoS? This also means that weather program systems can be hacked and experience great catastrophes, too? Scary enough to make organizations want to beef up security to be more affective.

I'm definitely one of the oldest! I remember using Vocaltec's Internet phone, Buddy phone, Netmeeting, CUCME, Yap Jack, Super Phone (my own), Net2Phone in the mid to late 1990s as part of the classes I taught ... 8th grade English. I did work two full-time jobs back then, teaching by day and my own co-founded VoIP company by night. More important, I'd love to share the archive of audio podcasts and video interviews I've held on my Youtube, DIDX, Viddler and TMCnet blog with VoIP experts from the last 19 years. A toast and SIP to VoIP!

Person to person calls are free? This bypasses having to dial phone numbers? But only those who use Facebook and have the voice app open can call each other? Facebook VoIP app will not enable calling to phone numbers free or calling to phone numbers at all? Why Canada first? I have so many questions about this.

Could be a breath of fresh air. I hope it is true. Like, I love how I can edit my comments and updates on Facebook via the web, but so far, I can't do this on my tablet or smart phone. There are so many things I cannot do on the tablet and smart phone that can on other devices via the web.

It seems like all of the Internet itself is a digital textbook, full of opinions, lies, truths, facts, debate, video, audio and more on every topic imaginable. In fact, my first experience with using the Internet was in my Florida middle school classrom where I taught English, Internet Research and Civics in late 1994. It changed my rather dull room into a real kaleidoscopic school playground and eventually led to my starting an IP communications business five years later. Thank, Braden and Julie, for talking about digital textbooks.

Very interesting! I think this is why I like to listen to audio podcasts and also the reason that I record audio podcasts with experts and innovators and then share with others on the web via my TMCnet blog, AstraQom podcasts, and DIDX podcasts. Voices ... their accents, their inflections, and the emotions they convey ... do such a great job in communicating messages. Plus, you can listen while doing something else at the same time if you want to. You can also listen again and again and catch new meaning and form new analysis each time.

This blog post makes me smile. The Code Zone that year was fun including Wii games, Asterisk Developer competition, plenty of liquids and snacks, and such. The ITEXPO all conference party was first of a series, so we wanted to be a part of that. DIDX used to host bowling parties when possible. They were totally relationship building and business developing happenings to never be forgotten.
