i did see it! actually, i wrote a very passionate email to mr kim practically begging him for an opportunity to save the collection, and keep it in nyc. he did not reply; maybe the email went straight to his spam folder. i probably should have made a phone call... once in a lifetime opportunities being what they are and all.

next time you see a deal on a house in italy like that you should let me know! maybe we could do it. i'm not sure if you are aware of this, but i'm really very handy with power tools and such.

yikes! there was a guy who came in pretty much every day to the store to rent a porn and one or two animated films... he told me (from behind his violet tinted aviators) that the cartoons were for his grandkids... and then he'd usually come back about an hour later to return the porn.
aaah, how i miss the video store life.

hello there,
i'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing such horrific withdrawal symptoms - i just wanted to drop a note to say that i had the "brain shivers" which are the electric shock type feelings you may be experiencing in conjunction with all the other crappy things you are feeling... anyway i just wanted to say that they did go away after a while (a few days or a week - i'm not so sure because it has been a few years since i went cold turkey off of the effexor). i mean, that's not too much help right now in the midst of your suffering - but i just wanted to say that i've been there and it did go away eventually! so stay strong!

thanks for the nudge towards mr. jurado, and with such an apt selection, too. sometimes i put off actually listening to people even though i have strong suspicions that i'll enjoy their music (esp those on sc or jagjaguwar). i suppose it might be a sort of rainy day music policy.

yes! i was first introduced to them a few years ago because i worked at a vintage poster shop. i'm hoping that all the excitement wrapped around Mad Men will somehow spur some publishing house into publishing a collection of this campaign. it is Begging to have the super deluxe glossy treatment.
