One of the problems with image bookmarking sites is the pagination of images. Here's what I suggest:

1 of 571 << Newest | < Newer | Older > | Oldest >>

This gives users the option of not only seeing the most recent images but new users can also jump to the very first images that were uploaded to weheartit.

As an interaction designer, I often see sites fail in respect to clear pagination. I hope you take this advice on board. You've built an awsome site.
