What has made this so newsworthy is the number of people charged and don't forget Dan Lilley. Every time he could get his face on the news he challenged, and i guess rightfully so, if you are going to charge prostitution, you have to charge or prove there was sex for money or at least intent. The extraordinary efforts to keep the list secret though, definitely has inquiring minds wondering "who is on it that has that much to lose?"

What? If you are charged with OUI, domestic assault, or a host of other offenses your name is fair game to the public but if you are accused of soliciting a prostitute you somehow feel you should be protected? This only confirms that the "list" REALLY does contain some influential people.

Wow, perhaps you should try a career in law enforcement before you use terms such as "trigger happy".It is bacause of people like you, who have no insight into the dangers of police work and have pre-conceived opinions regarding use of force, that the US Supreme court (you remember them) decided the actions of a police officer must be viewed in what a "reasonable police officer" would do.
