More on the schedule is here:

http://www.bangorcvb.org/co...

Re: Airline Crisis Front and Center for Destinations

Sally, the thing you need to remember is that the Religious Meeting Planner section is for religious meeting planners, not religious people in general. So you may well find all kinds of topics of interest to people who plan religious meetings in that section--including travel and hospitality news--as well as articles targeted specifically to religious meetings topics.

Sorry to confuse you!

Re: ASAE to Develop Principles for Social Responsibility

While I'm sure you're not alone in your assessment, this is the first strongly negative comment I've heard about the Summit. Have you discussed your disappointment with ASAE? My biggest concern in hearing about it was that it would be all talk and no action. I thought this latest announcement showed that progress is being made on those guiding principles. Am I missing something?

Re: “Secret session” reflections

If it's any consolation, I can't tell you how many people I heard rave about the secret session. Several people told me it was the best session they attended at the conference (I wasn't able to go, unfortunately). The secretness of the secret session really did work on a marketing level, at least for me. I was curious not so much because of the speaker hype, but because it had a sort of "in crowd" feel to it.

So, don't beat yourself up too badly. It was an experiment, right? At least you didn't blow up a lab or anything in the process!
