When I took over Essex Books last September, he gave a delightful walking tour, along with his wife Shirley, of the historic buildings on Main Street. I frequently called on him when customers came into town with various historical questions about Essex and he always answered with incredible detail and knowledge. The bestselling books in my bookstore are his two volumes of "The Houses of Essex." He will be sorely missed!</p>
