My most memorable jazz concert was my first jazz concert in the early '70s: Cleo Laine and the John Danworth Orchestra with Louie Bellson at the Monterey Jazz Festival.

This was the perfect cocktail for us, as we had just pressed apple juice via our apple tree. Enjoyed the cocktails while watching an online jazz concert of a friend in Seattle. My recommendation for bourbon is Maker's Mark -- among my favorites. And we didn't add the orange bitters as I'm not a fan. Delish!

What, no Cotton Row in Huntsville? It was my restaurant and chef of choice (James Boyce) during my debut in this Alabama city in September. I realize you included his two other restos (Commerce Kitchen and Pane e Vino Pizzeria), but no Cotton Row in the mix? Major oversight!

According to my research, Enumclaw celebrated its official Centennial in 2013. Enumclaw was platted on October 31, 1885 and incorporated in 1913. So maybe they had two 100-tear parties, one in 1985 for the platting and another in 2013 for its incorporation!

I figured that was the case! I'm not a mall person, but if I do go over there from where I live on Whidbey Island, a good choice is Anthony's Seafood Grill (just across from the AMC-Loews Theaters). My favorite lunch spot is Nordstrom's Cafe Bistro -- both food and service are excellent. And there's also a P.F. Chang's where I've dined.

The photo you used is one of the boats in the Washington State Ferries fleet -- which has nothing to do with the Victoria Clipper service between Seattle-Victoria. You may want to change the cutline, as it's somewhat misleading. (I've lived on an island in Puget Sound for nearly 40 years and am a frequent Washington State Ferries user).
