We never had much income in either situation and often one or both of us had other work to provide income for our five children. If you are called and have a passion for growing the church as God's Kingdom on earth then you will never be satisfied with anything else. It is difficult when you are either a child yourself or you see your own kids struggling cos of financial lack, but God provided in many ways. Some of my kids best memories are when we had the least income as we had to improvise in so many other ways. I love to see churches established where there was nothing and see people grow into their gifting.
There will always be some differences in the way we see things, but love God and others and don't major on the unknown or minors. Just make sure you know God and he knows you and lead others into his presence.
