Hi Steve, just curious about your trading philosophy. It seems you take a macro view and then build the portfolio based on that view. When yous tarted the portfolio I believe you felt the market was overextended and thus went short delta. The market has continued to go up.... so you have added positive delta to balance the portfolio.
My question is why make the macro judgement? Why not look at each trade on its own merit rather than doing the impossible, accurately predicting overall market movements? You could still get a delta neutral portfolio but without a market bias. thanks
