They already had their MLS 360 show and a couple random games per week free, which was good enough for me, but including all games/content under the existing TV subscription is certainly a win... assuming the price stays at $129/yr.

I don't know why. Personally I think it's one of the best streaming apps for live events. I watch a ton of soccer though, so it's my only choice. But compared to Sportsnet and TSN, Fubo is just a better experience on my Apple TV.

The only thing missing is integration with tvOS "up next" functionality (same as Netflix).

Thanks for the breakdown. Looks like battery life might be the most relevant improvement to the majority of users. That's a big bump. Battery life on my < 1 year old 15 pro is disappointing. Not worth upgrading for that reason alone, though.

Cool news. The youtube games last year had interesting features, but the commentating was less than stellar. I'll have to look up who Apple has hired for their media crew. Should be interesting to see where Apple takes this venture.

My various idevices have been prompting me to re-login to iCloud since yesterday afternoon, but upon entering my password I either get a "services unavailable" message, or the software hangs. Figured something was up... annoying for sure.

So long as Canadian telecoms can get what they need out of alternate suppliers (Nokia, Ericsson, whoever) who aren't subject to the whims of an oppressive regime, I say ban huawei. Private industry (Rogers et al) have already spoken by preemptively moving away from them, so I think we already have our answer. The CCP can posture all they want, personally I think banning huawei and taking other diplomatic approaches such as boycotting the olympics will hit China where it hurts - the wallet and the public image. But at the end of the day Canada is small potatoes in the global supremacy game and what we do has little influence on things... so it's probably best to align with our allies on this one.
