They already offer a bookmarklet for "Watch Later", which immediately sends videos (Youtube & Vimeo, so it seems) to your Queue. Pretty solid implementation.

I think of everything going on with graduation, I'm most excited about having the free time to learn about things that have been on the back burner for some months. I'm sure we've discussed this before, but it feels awesome nonetheless.

It should be noted that overflow:hidden; should be added to bee_button a { }, so that the active area doesn't stretch out all over the place. In Firefox, you can see the dotted box stretch into infinity off the side of the page. This can create issues for screen readers and the like.

I often give a friend of mine shit for hanging onto text messages much like you've described. But really, I see absolutely nothing wrong with hanging on to messages that actually mean something to you.

Yeah – I ran into some really awful problems with the comment system migrating to this template, so I had to hack off some of the functionality. For example, on the main pages it no longer says how many comments there are for each post.

I emailed their support but didn't want to leave it broken for them to look at. So for now its half set up and mostly functional, which is all I really need because I only get about one comment a month anyway.

I have no idea, this project was done through experimentation. The colors above were created by multiple dye cycles and several different colors. I don't think I could pull them off if I tried again.

That was one of the problems I ran into with the timeframe and pagenumber requirement. Sure, the story could have been drawn out a bit more but I wouldnt have had time to illustrated it nearly as well. If I were given more time, I'm sure this story could have been much longer/had a more fulfilling ending.

Thats pretty funny, my interest in graphic design also started with making websites as a kid. I've actually been thinking about starting something similar to a web design tutoring group in my program; everyone I talk to is completely overwhelmed by the idea of web development.

Hey guys,

I'm a graphic design student at the University of Minnesota and I'm curious about how much web specific design schooling you guys are getting in your program. It seems like I'm one of very few in the design program here at the U that really want to go into web design, and its really stressful that the curriculum is almost entirely based around flash development.

So essentially, are you guys getting any sort of formal introduction to web design in your program? Or are you web design skills based primarily on your own motives (as mine have been for years)?
