I know! These things were an impulse buy. When I got home, I saw how much they were. Although, I have tons of the little powder packets at work, and I think this bottle will last as much as like 16 of those little packets, so I still think it could be a good deal. And also, I'm willing to pay for it to taste like non-ass.

I have three week old pork in my fridge. I agree with your statement.

"Care about what someone else says - if possible, have fellowship with people, not small-talk." That's been bothering me lately. I'd like to think that a lot of it is a symptom of modern times, we have free mobility and connectedness, so we don't have to care about a particular person. Or did the lack of mobility and interconnectedness simply mask this problem rather than prevent it?

The problem with exposure to so many people is that we can just move on until someone else suits. But that philosophy is shallow and doesn't work. Take the time to acknowledge someone else as a human being, think about their needs, care about them, even if only for fifteen minutes.

That's about as ethical a thought as you'll get out of me.

Fuck yeah it is. The Fallout theme is pretty sweet too. There's one that's the Pip-Boy, complete with an animated green radar wave-ping thing (you know what I mean) in the background with the wallpaper.

That's the link to the thing I bought to grow them. Buzzy Seeds get crazy terrible reviews (indeed, I picked up both my pots half-crushed upside down in the dollar bin at Michael's), but these are growing with no problems.

Yeah, I'm getting ready to do that soon. I have a bigger pot to move it to, but I have to get a long-term solution. I'm surprised as hell they haven't died yet.

I should also mention that I don't really like tomatoes? This is an experiment to see if I like *fresh* tomatoes. haha! The right plant is a bell pepper plant. I'm more interested in those. The idea of being able to pick a pepper off the plant and immediately wash, chop, and throw it into a stir-fry has a ring of pure satisfaction to me.

Perhaps a bit. I think that our country is too big to help, so there's really no point in trying, unless we go for a drastic overhaul, which, short of the coming Zombie Apocalypse, isn't going to happen. I'll poke when I feel like it, otherwise, I'm apathetic and just as likely to jump over the fence as to sit on it.

Not actually 100% positive if there is a specific meaning. It is a popular symbol used in the Old Testament:

He seems to be using it as a general sign of peace and prosperity. Being that he is a Sufi, it makes sense that his reference draws from the Qur'an.
