Definitely agree about 3 Versos. I really like the vibe of it, but it feels like cutting it a bit shorter could have led to it having a better pace and ending.

Took me the longest to remember what they were called as well. I had one growing up too...not sure what happened to it. Most likely it was lost in one of our yearly yard sales. :/

Same. I felt there were a few interesting ideas/characters, but too little context given to anything that happened. If Zombie had focused on one (even two) of the ideas things would've felt much more cohesive.

Honestly, I've always had this weird wish that he and Steve Niles would team up to bring 'Aleister Arcane' to the big screen...before it became a Roth/Carrey project. I mean, a late night TV horror host + black magic + Rob Zombie? Sounds like a perfect recipe! Heck, he could still tackle it with Doctor Wolfenstein from House of 1000 Corpses.

I've heard the comic it's based on is actually pretty good as well...apparently its based on some real facts from Lovecraft's own childhood.
