You error, not knowing scripture or spiritual matters. If Jesus really wanted his disciples to eat his flesh and drink his blood , they would have taken him down from the cross and did just that. But they didn't. The Catholic church makes Jesus followers out to be some type of cannibals and vampires. If you knew scripture you would know that Jesus is the Word of God and to eat Jesus' flesh and drink his blood means to read and take in the Old and New Testament scripture. Here is some scripture to prove Jesus was saying to devour the Word of God, not Jesus' body. Ezekiel 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.-
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.-
Revelation 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.-
In Mark 14:23-24 Jesus equates the wine with his blood, which he then equates with the new Testament.
Mark 14:23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
**** The very lesson behind Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding, was to show the new testament as a new and better covenant. John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
Also Jesus tells us that extra-Biblical books are like false Christs, don't believe them. Now remember Jesus is the Word of God.
Matthew 24: 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Please know I am not attacking you personally. I enjoy our scripture searching discussion, which has caused me to search and eat up God's Word (Jesus).

In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus did not use repetitive prayer he would pray then go back to his disciples then go back out alone and pray again. You call this heathen type repetitive prayer? Plus you are calling Jesus a liar. That fits with what the Catholic church teaches. Psalms 136 is not repetitive prayer go back and read it again. As far as your statues as idols, I guess bowing down, praying to and kissing the feet of a statue of Mary don't count. Let's pick the witchcraft of what Catholics call the Eucharist ceremony. Where the "priest" who Catholics call "Father" changes the wafer and wine into the actually body and blood of Jesus. Plain an simple witchcraft. Seems there is no hope for you. It appears you are locked up in the ceremony, tradition and witchcraft that is the Catholic church. I guess you can hope that doing the stations of the cross will save you. Good luck.

Well if you are truly seeking God. Come out of the satanic Catholic church. Unless you like being deceived or you are a part of the deceiver's system. I understand following the true God is not for everyone. After all, there are God's children, but there are also children of their father the devil. I was brought up in the Catholic system, so I have first hand knowledge of what they're about. Even as a child I knew something was wrong in that church. Just look at simple things like the use of the rosary. Jesus says in scripture not to pray using repetition as the heathen do. It's so simple to see what that church is about. Then you got all the idol statues and images in the church. Then you gone the "hail Mary" abomination and on and on.

I would love to buy and read the Chicago Sun-times or Tribune if they both weren’t so leftwing and bias. I haven’t purchased either one in more the two years and even when someone tries to hand me one free I refuse it. The daily leftwing newspapers are going to be history and it is not because of the internet, it is because of the bias content.
