There's a plug-in for Wordpress that lets you back up your blog that I've been using. Does anyone know if this plug-in is any good? I'd like to know now if it's not good for restoring your blog BEFORE my blog goes down. Thanks.

I don't think Greasemoney or Action Cards are the way to go. I prefer a PHP implementation that does essentially the same thing. .ASP is probably the easiest though. I prefer taking the existing languages that have stood the test of time, and adding on to the functionality of that language.

Wait a sec. Aren't rights suppose to protect people? Isn't that the whole purpose of rights, for protection? What exactly is the SLDM protecting? Discrimination, racial bias, disabilities, religious beliefs, yeah, I get it. But Avatars? I don't know. It sounds a little silly to me. Surely the SLDM is not putting Avatar rights in the same category as, say, gay rights. Maybe there's more to this story beneath the surface that we don't know about.

Let's hope Uber is not the start of a whole range of Internet websites going down. It could happen. The economics of the Internet are flimsy, which is why it's not taxed for somethings. The entire engine of the Internet is based on advertising from everything to Google to affiliate programs to even most blogs. Even a small reduction in advertising dollars spend on the Internet could have very serious and far reaching ripple effects across the Internet.

This has got to be the most awesome article I've seen on the web in a LONG TIME. I would love to see a documentary or something on Real TV called 7 Big Holes In the Earth. It's like I read this article and I want to read even more. Also, I want to know why a helicopter could get pulled into a super-large hole in the ground.

Yeah, if you get to many 404s Google considers that as messing with the quality of their Google index and may delist your entire website from Google. I don't know of many businesses that can survive today if they were to be delisted from Google. This is a great and much needed feature. Thanks guys.

What is your opinion on Blueray. Is it worth paying a little more for movies that are in Blueray format? I'm thinking about upgrading to Blueray but don't want to upgrade into a dead end technology. Is the future Blueray and is now a good time to get a Blueray DVD?

It just goes to show you that Microsoft blew it with their shunning of open-source software. Whether it's an operating system, a browser, or a Microsoft Office open source clone, open source routinely beats Microsoft. It was Microsoft that began giving away programs free with their operating systems that bankrupted alot of companies years ago. You would think they would have learned by now how to capitalize and make money off things that are "free" and how open-source connects with this. Wikipedia is awesome.

What makes thing more difficult is if you downloaded third party plug-ins that redirected your blogs feed to a Feedburner feed. Google should not have changed the way Feedburner URLs work. Thanks for this clarity guys.

Great job guys. I can totally vouch for language translation and hope you guys continue to build on this. After installing a Wordpress plugin that automatically translates my blog pages into different languages and then looking at my web logs to see all the additional traffic I've gotten, I'm a big believer now that all language translations, no matter how small, are good and might even be the future of where the Internet is headed.
