I would simply like him to explain
himself better - just like the disability in his right hand - what exactly
is that.

Re: Judge Morgan under investigation over online election comments - Federal Way Mirror

So who was Mr. Morgan allegedly in a meeting with? This should be easily verifiable, if such a meeting really did happen.

Re: Judge Morgan under investigation over online election comments - Federal Way Mirror

I wonder how much this newest Morgan adventure is going to end up costing the taxpayers of Federal Way. "Transparency"... Isn't that a part of Mr. Morgan's campaign for re-election?? I can't wait to see how Mr. Morgan handles this one. I wonder how his actions have impacted the primary results??? Is Mr. Morgan the kind of judge we want in Federal Way????? I suppose - if we want to keep seeing the City's name in print - and want to keep paying the legal fees that go with all his games. As voters, let's not be fooled a second time.

Re: Federal Way judicial race: Criticism surfaces over information in voters guide - Federal Way Mirror

In reading this story I am truly puzzeled over Judge Morgan's comment that "voters don't care about the rating system" referencing to the various agencies and organizations that choose to endorse candidates. If these various ratings weren't important, organizations wouldn't waste the time and money doing them and candisdates wouldn't waste their time and money seeking them. This comment is further alarming in that it appears that Judge Morgan implies that he knows what is best for the voter. As a resident and business owner of Federal Way, what I want as a voter, and what I suspect other voters want, is full disclosure so that when it comes time for me to cast my vote, I can cast my vote based on a fully infomed and inteligent decision. Misrepresenting the facts and deceiving the publich clearly does not help the process. If endorsements and recommendations are not important (because we voters don't care), then one has to wonder why Judge Morgan uses them at all in his campaign. He doesn't shy away from the "highly qualified" endorsement I see in all his campaign literature and news paper ads. Now we come to learn that this "highly qualified" endorsement (which we voters supposedly don't care about) is almost 10 years old and that Judge Morgan hasn't spoken with this organization in some time and has obviously failed to inquire as to whether or not this particular organization wishes to continue to endorse him. This is extremely disconcerting because I believe Judge Morgan is intentionally misleading the public/voters as to his qualifications.

Re: The larger issue regarding the court

I agree that Judge Morgan cooperated with the investigation - initially - up to the point that it became unfavorable to him. Your position that the the report was "utterly useless" is suspect for two reasons: (1) the fact that Judge Morgan went to such extremes to prevent the release of the report serves to give the report a high degree of credibility, certainly much higher than it probably would not have received had Judge Morgan simply let the report come out in due course and responded accordingly. (2) I wonder if the report would have been considered "utterly useless" had it come out favorable to Judge Morgan. Had the report been positive, I have little doubt that he would have made the contents of the report a major part of his re-election campaign.
