Doctors don’t inform patients of the reality enough.

Example: rather than pain relief at the first sign of arthritis, doctors should strongly inform patients that the only cure is increased physical activity and weight loss. At the same time they could inform patients of the pain relief options but state clearly the prognosis that the disease will progress, stronger and stronger pain relievers will be required, eventually only joint replacements will offer only the chance of further relief.

Re: AOL’s Armstrong: 1/3 of Patch Sites Currently Have ‘Viable Business Model’

They need more automation. Sometimes reporters add maps to their stories that give a geographical context to the news but it looks like it is a manual thing because many stories don't get them. If it was automated like www.pointsmentioned.com they could save time and put the maps on every story.

Re: Google testing 'hyperlocal' news card for Google Now

I wonder if the "location" of an article is based on the location of the publisher, like "news near you" in google news now or perhaps the city in the dateline? The use of RSS by personal aggregation software is likely the intended use, not wholesale copying and republishing of headlines and lede paragraphs.
