It helps having friends visit, and new countries to explore, to keep things interesting.

Re: Motor up to Chateaubelair

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as I wrote that.

I'm sure we'll end up with some waterproof cameras. Underwater photography adds another level of difficulty to a dive, of course. But it would be nice to play around with, at some point.

Re: Down to SVG

A few things, first the Tobago Cays. The marine park there is quite stunning and we wanted to take Connor and Robin to see it. Our friend Mark just got there, so we'll meet up.
We also want to get out and see some more of the St. Vincent Island, we weren't able to hire a car when we were there before...

Yeah, St. Lucia looks fascinating. Many people skip it because of the crime (lots of theft from yachts, some violent), but we'll have to visit.

Re: Down to SVG

Yeah, I had no idea that happened until they told us about it.
We added a Facebook page that may be easier to follow: https://www.facebook.com/pr...

Re: Goodbye Sarah!

Mr Curly, after the cartoons of <a href="

And I think the previous owner's previous yachts were also named after Leunig characters.

Re: To Martinique

Added a picture of it. When I was in undergrad, I noticed that there were many personal details publicly visible in my University's LDAP directory. The University had a front end for staff in LDAP, but not students.

So, I made a nice front-end for browsing the student directory. It was very useful for managing student society membership (and probably stalking, if you were into that kind of thing). It had a disclaimer, saying where the data was coming from, and I spread the word about it, assuming the IT department would eventually notice, and lock down the LDAP ACLs.

Eventually word reached the high echelons of the IT department, and they were very upset. Thankfully, I was lucky. All I had to do was take the front-end down, and write them a letter of apology to avoid them taking me to the University court. Of course, I sucked up, and thankfully that was the end of that. Naturally, they didn't actually do anything about the leak and the private student details were still visible to anyone who knew where to look...

Re: Things I am not embarrassed about.

re a implying p: You mean -avP ?
