I missed Theaster's insightful talks. I love how he did this impromptu panel and it worked. Wish I would have been there to witness. This provides a peek into the experience and it is appreciated.

Re: The Mixmaster - Elaine Liner - Say Hey to the New Guy Performing The A-Gays: Stillwater, Oklahoma at Fair Park

I enjoyed this play. His vulnerability was refreshing. That scene when he was looking at his ex's picture on Facebook and masturbating, the most emotional part of the play. John Michael was entertaining, funny, sad, and very vulnerable. Two thumbs UP!

Re: City of Ate - Scott Reitz - Off-Site Kitchen Opens ... I believe the internet and that persona that is created begins to really bleed even before you meet a person. There is a lot chatter about transparency and if you are interested enough some of the worst offenders show their hand. Thanks so much Clement for your comment.

Re: All Grows Up and Cool – Are PR People Ruining Social Media

Absolutely Lori. Trust is multi faceted. What you trust from one person is not exactly the same thing you value and trust of another. I read an article recently about trust and how someone you know who is a political stragetist and your go to person for all things political may not be the same person you value or trust when it comes to advice on social media strategy. Creating and engaging with others is where it is at, I believe.

Re: All Grows Up and Cool – Are PR People Ruining Social Media

Christina, I believe a shift in the landscape is happening and these feelings are common among those that travel in the social circles. It is out there and the emergence of engaging individuals are going to be what is valued and that will incite change.

Re: All Grows Up and Cool – Are PR People Ruining Social Media

I hope that landscape changes and changes soon. I think it is an untapped market of teaming bloggers with products or messages. However, where this needs to be careful is the authenticity. I really began noticing this about 10 years ago. My mother was the same way in that if you were close to her and were talking it better be in a whisper or she would get angry. I have actually felt pain like needles over this whole sensory issue.

I was compelled to read because anything with the word "chronicles" in it is typically awesome. I wasn't disappointed.

Re: http://sovereignsyre.tumblr.com/post/405885016

You are so fucking beautiful.
