I personally don't have an xbox keypad, so I can't say from firsthand experience. My guess would be "no."
You can give it a try on the demo version and see if it does, or if you'd like the game anyway.

Awesome. There you have it straight from the developer himself. Chatpad and keyboard work. I didn't even think of trying a USB keyboard. I may have to go back and do that.

Lumines on PSP is the greatest handheld game ever invented. You can have your Tetris's and your Dr. Marios and your whatever other falling block puzzle games, but I spent so much time playing Lumines on PSP, that it alone was worth the price of that lameass handheld. My high score table is a full list of maxed out 999,999 scores, hehe.

Lumines on XBox: good, but I couldn't get back into it. There's something about Lumines as a portable game that the XBox verstion just *does not* capture.

I'm not even sure a rating on a finite scale would be completely accurate. It's entirely dependent on whether you're a fan of this style of puzzle game. Even then, it would depend on if you like a more casual experience vs the hardcore impenetrable puzzle type of game. I would peg Hamlet squarely on the casual end of spectrum.

Will you think it's worth your money is an entirely different question, however. I thought Hamlet was pretty short. And the puzzles that really gave me that feeling of "I just solved something, whoo" were few. My suggestion is just to give the demo a shot before committing to it.
