Great pick, I really love this song. The whole Unhalfbricking album is excellent and they do two other Dylan songs actually. Plus two more in the bonus tracks meaning 5 Dylan covers for the session. that might beat the byrds! glad to see you back.

Great Beach Boys car songs rundown. I love how they hired a "car consultant" for these songs in Roger Christian. in the Endless Harmony doc, there's a great moment where Mike Love explains how they were singing about surfing, but most of the country is landlocked! so what should they sing about? duh, cars!

No kids here. But I would really dig a children's music week. I'm a huge fan of everything from Fred Rogers to Soothing Sounds For Baby to Nilsson to Beethoven. Also looking for ways to boost my young nephew's musical inclinations. I've had Covered In Kidfolk to help me with that in the past as well.

From what I've read, I think both were named after the William Butler Yeats Poem called "The Silver Apples of the Moon." It wouldn't surprise me in the least if your assumption was true and this composition was the kicker, either. Great post and thanks for the shoudout.

Tennis is my favorite spectator sport as well. Every Federer ace is a huge OMFG but Nadal was just vicious. So glad I got to watch most of the event.

grateful dead. one of the best american bands of all time. i don't see why you would need to try to not like them. because of silly lyrics, jam bands like phish don't stand the test of time well, but love for the dead is nothing to be ashamed of.

Where once'd, mention of God or religion would have turned me off to the music in question, strange circumstances made it so that I have fallen in love with spiritual music, especially of the bluegrass/country variety. This shall be a great SMM series, and obviously, great post bh.
