Discovered them through The Carnation (Eeire = singer Eric Obo) a while back. The Carnation put out two of my favorite records from the past few years: "Gothenburg Rifle Association" (2204) has a hard hitting mod revival sound. A few years later, "Human Universals" (2006) incorporated 'new wave' touches. Almost like they were a long-lost band from the late 70's, early 80's... Both well worth looking into. The Eerie MySpace page has more terrific stuff. The music industry loathing lyrics of "Human Univerals" may indicate that The Carnation are no more, but I'll easily be satisfied with this new direction!</p>
