Btw, not sure if you've seen it, but we released PostgreSQL support yesterday. Also, the AWS Schema Conversion Tool will actually allow converting the schema to an EC2-based database target, just specify the appropriate host name, and it should work. Sorry if we weren't clear in the UI. One last thing. If you want to convert to MariaDB, just select MySQL as your conversion target, and SCT will work just fine. We will make it clearer in future builds.

Re: The American Who Dared Make Putin’s Case

When all is said and done and Ukraine emerges as a democratic nation, Mr Cohen will not only look as a Putin apologist, but also as a dangerous fool. May I remind the readers of Neville Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister before Winston Churchill. To quote Wikipedia: Neville Chamberlain "is best known for his appeasement foreign policy, and in particular for his signing of the Munich Agreement in 1938, conceding the German-populated Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia to Germany."

Re: Leigh Turner: Changing seasons in Kyiv… and Vienna

Funny, my family was posted to Vienna too, '81-'86. Donauinsel and Praterring, and Dreigroschenoper. Just saying.

Re: Disqus comments and UserVoice feedback added

Disqus has a Wordpress plugin that generates html to be served as part of your blog page. The search bots get the entire package - your content + comments - in one request. This works great for Wordpress blogs, but I need something for my custom-developed web site (it is not based on WP).

Re: Disqus Gives Spammers A DoFollow Thanksgiving Feast

David, i am evaluating Disqus from a SEO perspective. I did a few searches for specific phrases and found that older comments were credited to Disqus subdomains (i used your posts for research); the newer ones however are crediting your own domain. Is that the new Wordpress functionality you are talking about?

Re: Nintendo DSi arrives on April 5

kids like the DS form factor (2 screens, loudspeakers) - you should see them using the stylus on the bottom screen while engaging the navigation buttons.
