The Spanish govt. are cheeky bastards with the taxing of sunshine to prevent people using photovoltaic panels on houses. Something has to be done with the move towards sustainable energy in Spain instead of the govt. cronies protecting their friends in the electric companies.

I spotted a Nissan Leaf in Girona last week. The first fully electric was a Dutch plated Tesla visiting a house around the corner. Yesterday I saw the Nissan van NZ... next to the beach where I work.
I am planning that my next car will be all electric!

The timer app I have on the Watch OS2 I'm using now keeps on counting the seconds when in the background. I also have the timer as a complication on the watch face. What about other apps that show better how they operate in the background and are something new.
Looking forward to the Dock on the Apple Watch - So long as I can still get to the Now Playing control as easy as I can now from the glances.

Having the single wheel at the front is a terrible idea - Three wheelers are much more stable with the two wheels at the front.Tell the designer to go drive a Reliant Robin first and he would have designed it the other way.

My three boys went through the Irish education system and they really do pile the religion high in the school. Then on top of that there is all the arm twisting and blackmail employed within the family. Ireland is getting better now after the paedophile priests shaming the catholic system. It will take forever to see reason prevail over xtianity in Ireland but it has got better in the last 20 years. Proper education and teaching kids to think for themselves and question everything will win over in the end.
Good film though. Well done atheist Ireland.

I've had chip and pin for a few years. NFC not so much. You statement 'where NFC payments are already widespread thanks to chip-and-pin cards' is rubbish. NFC Has nothing to do with chip and pin.

I started at the beginning of your podcast only a month ago. I am about half way to being caught up. It will be terrible when I have to wait a week for the next episode.

Dictation is a public place doesn't work out too well.

I'd be tempted by the Dvorak too.

I've seen a keyboard called Textblade to use with my iPhone and iPad. It can be set to use Dvorak too.

A keyboard - That's a bit old hat... Better to have better dictation software on there. Would be great to have the Nuance DragonDictate on the iPad.
A Stylus.... You are kidding. You can get and use a stylus now anyway. I have one for when I get the urge to draw and paint on the iPad.
I think the iPad is pretty amazing already and iOS 8 with the third party keyboards will be another improvement. Maybe a bigger version could be handy for some people.

Yes this article is pure fluff with nothing sensible or interesting to add.

A very good tip to using any application that is all about using text is to use a spellchecker. Or maybe reading through what you have written as part of the editing process, so that you get rid of all of the spelling mistakes. Words such as don't - NOT dont and you've - NOT youve, as well as finding places where you've missed the space in between words.

Some good tips otherwise.

This is all the keyboard I am left with on my Nexus 7 when I switch on Extended Keyboard.

I can have the extended keyboard with the floating but I want it with the docked keyboard.

I also just got a Galaxy S3 and I an only a couple of days into the process. I have found apps to cover the main apps I was using on iOS and all is going mostly OK. The Android Audioboo app is poor in comparison, but might get better as it is a beta. I like the OS generally with all the ways that I can open apps and I like the voice control as I am coming from an iPhone 4 with no Siri. I have gone for the Swift Keys keyboard and I also had Swype, both are quite cool.
I still have loads to learn and to let seep into the muscle memory to be able to feel comfortable with the S3.

The original email app was terrible to read - dark grey on darker grey so that had to go and I am like the Google Gmail app the best so far with a nice clean well designed interface. That's the Apple fan boy in me showing there.Has to be well designed.

Apple are hardly likely to make a phone with a screen like the S3 size and I am pleased that I have jumped to the dark side for the phone. Love my iPad too much to want to leave that behind though. Now I have 2 years of being an Android phone user in front of me and I think I like it.

It was two or three years ago when I first signed up for Audioboo, there are so many things to sign up for and something stick on some things don't. Probably because I had other podcasting things going using other platforms I neglected Audioboo. After hearing you talking on a podcast about what you do and how you do it I was inspired to look again and see what I could do with Audioboo.

So thanks to you I have been able to enjoy getting back into creating short audio podcasts, I have to keep them under five minutes. I like the fact that it has been very easy to either create the Audioboo using the Audioboo application on my iPhone, or to create one in the office using the good microphone and to be able to upload file their website. I do hope that if there are changes coming that it doesn't change the user experience too much, or for the worse. It is quite amazing how much you can at least say in five minutes and if I do bump into the upper time limit then I can always make another one to add to the waffle and wittering on that I did in the first one.

Thanks for drawing me back into Audioboo and thanks for caring enough about the platform to write this blog post about it along with the accompanying Audioboo.
