Hi Adam,
DevTest Labs will continue to exist.
Lab services is a managed version aimed at fit for purpose scenarios such as classrooms, demos, trials etc.
You can continue to use DevTest Labs in the Azure Portal and customize the lab per your needs. We plan on adding more features to DevTest labs as we go and are open for any feedback you may have on the service.

Just to clarify.
The example I shared was to create a DevTest Lab from ARM templates.

The time required to solve the issue depends on the type of issue. For blocking issues/quick fixes/advisory questions we resolve immediately. If we discover a bug, it can take more time depending on the fix. However, our support engineers will communicate these updates with you regularly.

As of now we don't have a timeline for supporting ARM deployments in a single resource group. Let me get back to with an update when once we have a timeline.
