I was thinking more about the rich text editor buttons I have for blogging positioned between the text area and the send-to details. I would also like to have dual view of text and HTML. Its because most of the documents I write are in blogs rather than email or document editors.

I think this is a really exciting development and adds a level of comfort when considering where to deploy your new app. Will be interesting to see how this will effect the design of software that is currently deployed in S3 and othes, also interesting from a DR - HA perspective. Cloud to cloud failover.

First of all we would need to build the folksonomy so a mashup would be the right way of doing that.

Once we have created the key words we would need to throw in some images like person, flower, future etc etc. Perhaps a separate deck for "time, place, feelings"

We would then provide a service to someone like Moo cards (http://us.moo.com/en/) and they could do the printing and shipping component.

If this could tie into Visa infrastrucutre that would sort out some of those wallet issues.

Mind you, if Visa did this they would have to pay me to use their card as I would be giving them access to a huge amount of my personal transaction data.

We have a loyalty card called flybe but its rubbish, instead of getting cash back at the Point of sale (like a supermarket loyalty card) or a free coffee we get points which we can convert to products. it takes ages for the average user to build up points that it becomes pointless.....

There has to be a better way!!

Agreed, my wallet is overflowing with cards. :o(

Upon reflection I think I am after a frequent flyer card for coffee drinkers. In the same way I have a loyalty card for the super market I want a loyalty card for all coffee shops.

Thinking about a possible implementation makes me wonder if it could happen as it would been to be as cheap as a "card and a stamp" might prove tricky.

There is no reason for you to trust the statements above but the information that we have internally around the number and size is pretty impressive, even as a long term(ish) IBMer.

I am sure this information will be released sooner rather than later.

did this happen when you changed the theme (click ok in preferences) and then go back into the preferences and change the theme back again?
