Hi Kirstie - I'm not sure I understand the problem you're having... Zeewe 2.0 uses the same bookmark to launch from your home screen as Zeewe 1.0. Zeewe 2.0 doesn't remove bookmarks (stub-apps) from your home screen. If you can describe your problem in more detail in an email to the Zeewe support team, they will be happy to help you resolve any issues: talk(at)zeewe(dot)com. Make sure to mention which phone you're using and which apps you've bookmarked to your home screen that aren't working.

Thanks for your comment, Craig. No one specified the numbers of users that would attract sponsorship or agency attention, but I suspect they'd have to be sufficiently large and hitting the desired demographic of their client (millions of users?)

Great tips, Helen! If you leave your laptop in your hotel/apartment, and there isn't a safe, keep it locked securely to the bed (or other large furniture) with a Kensington (or similar) lock.

Thanks, Dan. I agree with your thoughts on Android today. I think that may change as more interesting Android 2.0 devices (like Droid) are brought to market by companies that are willing to invest in advertising and engage a new (or steal the early adopter) demographic.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Vlingo app, Ted. I didn't go to the RIM conference... It's good to hear that they got it right on the mobile conference app front.

As for MiFi - I couldn't agree more. The big operators should also be parking their remote tower trucks out front to boost the bandwidth and coverage at these shows!

Yep - As I mentioned above, and by others' accounts, it's working now. It wasn't the first few days the device was out. I bought the E71 unlocked version in the end, and like it better than the E71x.

Wow -thanks for sharing. I really like it! The Netvibes solution is actually the most useful free tracking tool I've seen because it allows you to aggregate so many other free social media monitoring tools. I've just set up my custom search page.

Sounds like it's working fine now. The E71 plugin wasn't working for me on the second day that the E71x came out. At the time, AT&T told me syncing the E71x with a mac wasn't possible, and they claimed to have consulted with Nokia. It's clear from the comments though, that it's now working. I ended up buying the E71 unlocked from Amazon, and returned the E71x. The unlocked E71 comes with better accessories than the E71x and it syncs just fine.

I'm with you... BA's attentiveness on Twitter is great. I feel like a real person rather than a number. @britishairways (US) and @british_airways also offer helpful advice. I wish I was flying British Airways over United on my trip to Germany and the UK next month, but United offered sale fares I couldn't refuse. :-/

Hmmm... I downloaded the E71 iSync plug-in from Nokia's European site early last week, and it didn't work with my MacBook Pro. AT&T told me the E71x wasn't Mac compatible or compatible with iSync. My complaint was escalated, so perhaps they fixed it to work with the E71x?

MarkSpace replied to my query and says MissingSync supports the E71x. So, that could be a good option for users that are having trouble with iSync.

Given my experiences with the E71x so far and other reviews I've seen, I'm returning my E71x to AT&T and buying an unlocked E71. That way, if Apple comes out with the rumored new iPhone this summer, I'll be able to upgrade under the AT&T subsidy. As an added bonus, AT&T actually supports Mac users that buy an iPhone.

Thanks, Brian. I'm trying to sync calendar, contacts, photos, music, etc. I'd use Google Cal, but I like having an offline calendar. And, unfortunately, it doesn't solve my contacts syncing problem.

I'm also seeing a lot of new spammers trying to follow me on Twitter. I block anyone who looks like a spammer in the hopes that doing so flags their account as potentially "suspicious".

I'm curious... How many avid Twitterers block spammers vs. letting them follow in order to boost their follower numbers?
