Yes, some of the prices can be higher but a large majority of them are actually lower. I'm the only vegetarian in my family and quality is important to me. Everything we've purchased there has been excellent and I love their bulk foods section as well!  We decided to join the co-op and enjoy the extra weekly specials and the 10% off everything the 1st Saturday every month that are perks of membership.
