Perhaps I'm too late?
Anyway, would be very pleased to write a review on your eBook if it contains something worth reviewing. If I'm not too late, hook me up :)

Re: Photoshoot for my SNOBs profile

Hahaha... Although I suspect people would then expect you to be writing about golf. I like 'the thinker' & 'the pointer'.
What IS that grey thing you're pointing at?
PS: I have a SNOBSpecialist who doesn't have ANY pics of herself for the full-page profile. I really don't want anyone using logos instead. I said I'd give her the heads-up for a quick freebie pic next time you happen to be shooting something (no rush). Woman I refer to is locally based, she's a business coach named Lindy Asimus.

Re: Have you visited your blog lately?

I've definitely felt myself torn between my main website, my original 'experimental' blog, my business Facebook page and Twitter/ LinkedIn etc.

But I feel like I can pat myself on the back (just a little - don't want to knock the tickets off) for NEVER having got too caught up in Twitter. I use it very selectively. I'm following a couple of hundred people and I really think that's a bit excessive - I'd like to cut back but I don't want to be rude.

I truly, honestly value Twitter as my connection to the outside world (I work from home) and to business professionals I majorly respect who I would NEVER have had the opp. to converse with otherwise.

I'm still in wide-eyed wonderment at how cool Twitter is - and Facebook pages, too! I finally got round to launching one and, still early days, but it's totally RAD! Maybe I'll be over both in the next 6months but I've rarely neglected my blog commitments in favour of extreme-social-butterfly action at Twitter and I think it could be a big reason why my affection for a tweet is just as strong as day 1.
Haha; I better wrap this up before I start to weep!

But to end: Twitter is ACE, it's made me a better writer, expanded my network phenomenally and it makes me feel a lot less alone, when I'm alone.

Tissues please!!! ;)

Re: It’s official, I’m a SNOB

You're doing a very good job already; SNOBS hardest working contributor by far. Had no idea they were so young!
The answer is :Getting Wise

Re: Poll: Music news, yes or no?

I think that's a solid idea! Let me give you my journalist's perspective: writers are loaded up with press releases to keep them abreast of all that's fresh and 'happening'. If you have any self respect as a journo, you view a press release as a starting point/or a lead to make some inquiries, dig further and create a STORY around the introductory news you have received.
But let's be honest, when the information in the press release is actually worthwhile and well presented it's so tempting to just paraphrase what has been provided (of course I've never seen THAT happen before) and the crew who have sent you the press release would probably be equally as stoked to get the 'news' out there in a version as identical to what they produced as possible.
Music industry press releases aren't sent to the fans (traditionally) and it's the fans who are 10 times more interested in the news than the journos are. Well, I mean, a music journo might immediately write up every snippet of news they get about Matchbox 20 and not EVER get around to crafting a story around a press release they've received about Whitesnake (if maybe they were planning a reunion or something).
So I say, give the fans what they want in it's original form (the press release). They'll also get to read it a lot quicker than if you decided to try and make an article of it.
Oh yeah... and the free stuff? Woo hoo! Maybe you could set it up so readers/fans have to write their own article around the press release you've published [a mini-article, just big enough for the comment box] and the best "music journo" wins the prize.

Re: Teasers from Saturday

"Teaser" being the operative word... damn!
