Hi Velma! Glad you've been helped by my tips!
The only way that I know how to get tabs closer together is by cropping your images so that hardly any excess remains on either side. Once uploaded, I use for each space that I want in between the tabs. Hope this helps!

Here's what I would do: Upload the buttons to photobucket. Hover over the button you wish to resize, then select edit-->resize. Resize the buttons to the desired size and save. Sometimes PB is a little slow in replacing the original buttons, so I would replace as a copy instead of replacing the originals. Once the button has been resized, copy it's html code. Replace the link to your PB album with the link to the blog the button is supposed to go to.
This tip does not cover everything you are wanting to do, but it may help you resize the buttons in PB. Hope this helps! :)

Hi Fran! Glad that you've found my tips to be helpful! I really appreciate you writing about my tips and displaying my button on your blog. Thank you!
The little social buttons were installed in an html gadget. I uploaded the images to Photobucket, then got the codes for each. I installed them similarly to how I installed the buttons in this tip: http://sneakymommablogdesig.... You'll want to put <center> at the beginning of the code for all the buttons and </center> at the end to make them appear on one line. Add a space between each one by inserting . This can get pretty tricky and frustrating. Before beginning, I would upload one of the icons to your blog to make sure that the background of the image will look good with the background of your blog. Sometimes these images are created on white backgrounds which would make them look like they had white boxes around them on your blog.
If you try it and it is too difficult for you, I'd be more than happy to install these buttons for you for $10. If this is something you become interested in, please send me an email to blogsbysneakymomma@gmail.com. Good luck! :)

It took me forever to figure out how to connect my blog to FB and I was so frustrated by the process that I didn't write down the steps it took to get there. I used Networked Blogs (http://w.networkedblogs.com.... I don't think it was too difficult, just hard for a FB newbie like me. I intend to spend some time during the next couple of months walking myself back through the process so that I can write a tip on it. Yours is a popular request! I've heard that it is easier to link your blog to Twitter, then to use their settings to link it to FB. Wish I could have been more help!

Sure! Do you have centering tags around each line of buttons? Each line of buttons must have <center></center> around them in order to make them work.

This will not put a border around the widget. It will put a border around the entire sidebar. You left out the # symbol before the 000000. :)

I successfully connected my blog to FB using Networked Blogs. I am somewhat of a FB newbie, though and cannot tell you exactly what steps I took. I remember it giving me quite a headache! http://w.networkedblogs.com...

I create custom sidebar titles w/images as individual images on Photoshop Elements. Then I upload them to Photobucket. I get the html code for each image and install it in an HTML gadget. They're a bit of a pain!
The titles on this blog were done by formatting my headings section to include an underline and an enlarged font. I wish I had the time to go into how I did it (it's pretty complicated!). I will add this to the list of tips I hope to write someday! :)

All you have to do is upload the photo by going to add a gadget-->picture. In the link field, type in the url (web address) of where you want your readers to go when they click on the photo. Check out this tip for help with getting the url to a specific post: http://sneakymommablogdesig...

Hi Annemarie! I have the DISQUS comment system installed on my blog. http://disqus.com/ All of the customizations that you mentioned are included in this system. I do not recommend it for personal blogs that are trying to build a readership.
You can display your readers' photos beside their comments in Blogger by going to dashboard-->settings-->comments. You can do a lot of other things here as well. :)
