I work for small companies and basically they just want their PC's to "talk" to one another. No problem. Want mail going to the right person? Not a problem, done in 33 or it's free. I think only a few people commented on "users" and "bosses". Users want everything spoon fed to them and explained to them in "userspeak". Unfortunately, without knowing a users' frame of reference, that can be anything from frustrating, to impossible, to a life sentence for throttling a person with their own mouse cord.
Bosses on the other hand simply say, "I know you can make it work" as they hand you an app designed to run on a Mac, when they're running a box with Win XP...or for the cheap, Win 98.
It's all a losing proposition, and if you want satisfaction, and the money isn't really an issue, go work for the very small companies, the appreciation they have when you make even the simplest task a little easier, is easily worth the pay reduction.
Or a Florist sounds like a nice change of pace.....all hot chicks dig flowers
