My Mom would get a tad upset with me sometimes... but I didn't care! I was always so relieved to find her.

I remember always getting "lost" in the grocery store. I was pretty absent minded as a child and would get so focused on something, that when I looked up, my Mother would be down the next aisle.

Fear stricken, I would run up and down the aisles until I found her. What a relief! She was still there! She hadn't left me after all!

This weekend, I'm going to call my Mom and thank her for always being there for me. And, although she is more than a few aisles away (living in another state) I know that I can always find her when I need too.

The ad that still makes me smile is the Coca Cola ad where a large group of people are holding candles and singing... "I'd like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony..." Then they would come together and form a shape of something that was reflected with the candles... what was that shape... I don't remember?!

My form of "make- work" can sometimes take the form of taking on too many opportunities. Being really passionate about what I do, it's challenging for me to say "no" to many of the great opportunities that come my way.
Yet, then what happens is that passion gets too overwhelming and the "workload" increases leaving me really, really tired.

My "job" is to remember my priorities and accept a limited number of opps so that I can focus and finish what I start.

I spent a week in DC once and absolutely loved it.
I loved roaming the local neighborhoods, walking the old brick walkways and looking at the historical buildings.
Feels so majestic!
There were vibes of reverence in the air.
You know, no matter anyone says about this country, we are truly built upon the backs of people who were passionate, held steadfast to their beliefs and who gave their entire lives to bring freedom to the rest of us.

We have so much to feel grateful for in this country.

Say, are you planning a visit to N. Cal?

I've been precisely in this space myself.
Been reorganizing my home office, creating a daily schedule for myself and catching up on my filing.
What a huge difference it makes to my well being and sense of joy.

BTW- saw your book promoted in this months Body and Soul (I think it was that mag...)

I think these are good tips... things to consider and think about.

Ultimately, WE KNOW our deepest truths, although we don't always connect with them.

Casting a blind eye to what is going on within us and within our important intimate relationship will put us in jeopardy of choosing a disempowering behavior. So the best way to avoid an office affair is to embrace your truth. Stare it down and then take action to resolve whatever troubles you from a place of empowerment.

I love doing surveys on FB and Twitter.
My friends and followers seem to enjoy it too.
After a few days of asking my question, I post their answers on my blog.
It's not only a great way to learn from my market, it provides them with a lot of validation and comradery.

I also get back to each one individually with a personal note or quick video.
