I was pretty absent minded as a child and would get so focused on something, that when I looked up, my Mother would be down the next aisle.

Fear stricken, I would run up and down the aisles until I found her. What a relief! She was still there! She hadn't left me after all!

This weekend, I'm going to call my Mom and thank her for always being there for me. And, although she is more than a few aisles away (living in another state) I know that I can always find her when I need too.

:) Susan

Re: Wordless Wednesday, My Soon To Be Hearing Soccer Player

Hope the surgery went well Michele and that you are able to get some rest.

((( hug )))

-S

Re: Happiness Is...Reminscing about Terrific Old TV Ads.

The ad that still makes me smile is the Coca Cola ad where a large group of people are holding candles and singing... "I'd like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony..." Then they would come together and form a shape of something that was reflected with the candles... what was that shape... I don't remember?!

Re: Beware of Fake-Work and Make-Work.

My form of "make- work" can sometimes take the form of taking on too many opportunities. Being really passionate about what I do, it's challenging for me to say "no" to many of the great opportunities that come my way.
Yet, then what happens is that passion gets too overwhelming and the "workload" increases leaving me really, really tired.

My "job" is to remember my priorities and accept a limited number of opps so that I can focus and finish what I start.

:) Susan

Re: I claim my Calling!

Excited to see all of your beautiful creation, Cassandra!
And, who knows... may be your a spiritual business coach?

Re: 100 Things I Fear: let’s have a drink

Cheers!

Re: 100 Things I Fear: the book proposal again.

Writing a book is a big deal and is bound to freak you out every now and then. So the best way to avoid an office affair is to embrace your truth. Stare it down and then take action to resolve whatever troubles you from a place of empowerment.

-Susan

Re: 100 Things I Fear: not enough clients

Excellent, Cassandra.
:) Susan

Re: The Happiness Project:

Why not be Creative, Enthusiastic AND confident?
I love ALL three.
And, you seem to embody them all.

Creativity in your writing.
Enthusiastic in your work.
And a well earned confidence from a job well done.

See that your book hit the shelves.
Really excited for you!

Susan

Re: Another Fear Bites the Dust!

and, another one's gone and another ones gone!
another one bites the dust!

<great song="">

Good to see you working through those fears, Cassandra!
-Susan

Re: I Lied to Hide

((( hug )))

Re: Survey Says: YES They’ll Buy From You!

I love doing surveys on FB and Twitter.
My friends and followers seem to enjoy it too.
After a few days of asking my question, I post their answers on my blog.
It's not only a great way to learn from my market, it provides them with a lot of validation and comradery.

I also get back to each one individually with a personal note or quick video.

:) Susan

Re: I'm a Lady in Waiting

enjoy!!!
:)
