SK: Interestingly enough - the filmmaker - who isn't from the transracial community - from the interviews I saw - I don't think intended it to be that way. One of her interviews set out to defend Faith's parents on their parenting style. If it was truly a critique - there would be more questions brought up - it would delve into something more than what it is. And there's plenty of material out there that already does.

I think it's great you talk about the film and see it as a critique - but also found it interesting you didn't have much to say on anything else from the post just because I'm not sure you can talk about the film w/o talking about what surrounds it.

Because "Pro-Life" has always meant - and always will mean - someone who doesn't believe it's a woman's choice (and man's choice) about what to do when someone's pregnant - and just like I believe everyone should be able to carry a gun at their own discretion - I also believe everyone should be able to make the choice about what to do in that very personal situation.

This is going to be tough one for my Celtics, but even though all the ESPN pundits are giving it to the Cavs - I think they might be wrong...I think you should be rooting for the Celtics - because what better finals could there be than a Celtics/Lakers rematch?

Thanks for the comments on this one - and I can definitely agree on some of what you're saying in regard to percentages - at the same time though I think you have to look at the concentration of that percentage as well. I'm not sure what it's like to in CO, but here in the cities - at least in certain neighborhoods - it's all POC and mainly Asian American - and there's also the largest Korean American Transracial community in the country (and second largest Hmong population ourside of CA as well doing there thing) - yeah - a ton a White People in certain areas - but that makes it interesting as well...

Although I won't lie and say I do think about hitting out to CA - but that's because these winters are MF killing me ('cause I don't think I'll eve get used to these) xD

Thanks again - and btw - it was nice to see you down in LA (even if you didn't know it was me) - and trust me - you're one hot MF.
