I'm also really pissed off that Obama invited Warren to this historic event, but I dare say your rants against Warren are entering the realm of Warren-esque hatred. I mean, criticize the man for his ignorance and lack of compassion, but calling attention to his weight is immature and unprofessional. Let's not conduct ourselves in a manner unbefitting the seriousness of the cause. Also, it's not exactly good policy to generalize about an entire nation (i.e. Syria) in the way that you have. Some say Americans are anti-Muslim or "Muslim haters," which certainly doesn't describe you or me or most everyone I know, and likewise I doubt it if all Syrians are "Jew haters." Not a very enlightened thing to say. If your arguments are intelligent and professional, there's a better chance that Obama and his people will take notice. Don't let your anger cloud your judgment.

I don't really want Conan to leave "Late Night" for "The Tonight Show," anyway. I know it's supposed to be a "step up," but "Late Night" is a great show. It's Conan's show, and I don't really want to see him on another one. I mean, are Max and the guys going with him to "The Tonight Show" or are they staying behind? They better be going with Conan to 11:30, or I'm going to sh*t a brick.

Thanks for talking about this, Jed. I'm so sick of Democrats ignoring this issue. You'd think that someone as brilliant as Obama would realize that the drug war has not only failed, but will never "succeed" and, as you've noted, is doing much more harm than good. All it takes is a smart, common sense assessment of the matter to come to this conclusion, and yet, Democrats in Congress and the Senate continue to ignore the many costs of the Drug War in fear of... who/what exactly? The same nut-jobs who thought prohibition of alcohol was a gem of an idea? Why are we listening to these morons? I have a feeling this will be the issue that places me at odds with Obama throughout his term. Much as I admire the guy, drug policy and prison reform are two issues of the utmost importance to me that I doubt the Obama admin. will try and tackle. I know the economy is in the shitter, and that is has become, necessarily, the coming administration's #1 concern, but hello pot tax? That's revenue, right there.
