20 miles on the Segway G30LP is a stretch on mine. My commute is 10 miles from Riverdale to Midtown West - which is 9 miles of completely traffic-free, mostly flat riding (no stopping is most efficient) and it uses up 60% of the battery. Yes it's at sports speed - cause a smaller setting won't get you up the hills at all.

Good news is that I have taken my daughter to school on the UWS (8 miles) with 70% used up and we weigh 240lbs +. It's great and highly recommend. Just wish it had 20% more power.

The cable just plugs into the scooter. Not a standard cable plug/port. There's a cap on the scooter port to keep it from getting dirty/wet while riding.

Don't heckle the blogger! She's absolutely right! Fruit picking is a
highly specialized and non-transferrable skill. Ever since the Classic
Olmec/Zapotec period, Oaxacans have been bred to have the correct
'musculature' and the correct shiny versus dull retinal contrast-sensing
cells for picking Massachusetts cranberries, Guatemalans for Oregon
Marionberries, the residents of the highlands of Chiapas for cucumbers
(male: Kirby, female: Persian), Durangans for the indelible blood
orange.

In contrast, Europeans and Africans have no such lineage having to
obtain the majority of their calories since King Tut and the Emperor
Justinian from indigenous Old World nutritional sources such as
Starbucks (Aster buxsensis) and Burger King (Burgenella regalis).

Like jazz bassists, 3rd year neuro-cosmetic surgical interns and yard
bombers it is extremely important that fruit-pickers keep the
receptacles of their rare art (ie, their hands) in safe harbor while in
the off-season. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see on a crisp winter
afternoon, a farm worker in a peaceful 'siesta' in a nail salon having
their hands soaked in a jasmine (bred-to-pick by Hmong) and vanilla
(bred-to-pick by Malay) tincture.

(On the subject of nail salons. Little know fact. Northern Vietnamese
have the perfect musculature to give pedicures while the Southerns,
manicures. The Vietnam War was largely an outgrowth of China's need to
expand its supplier base, after the post-war baby boom for the
foot-binding services of North Vietnam into the South.)
