As a son of the Holocaust I learned the lesson listening to my parents recounting the Hell they went through in the camps. I'm licensed and I keep weapons in my house and other places to defend my children and family. Read your history the key seems to be to have weapons at the ready, the founders knew this, that is why we have a second Amendment. The Jews had no weapons at first but look at the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, they fought against the Nazi juggernaut. They died on their feet not gassed or burned in the ovens. There were Jewish partisans who led guerrilla attacks in Belorussian areas. The lessons of history are there to read if we take the time to study the lessons. I am certainly not suggesting to take to the streets. I am suggesting that we keep an eye on the powers that be or want to be to protect ourselves should the need arise.
