Usually Maruti launches their models with AT in the mid trim (VXI) and then based on demand will later add to higher trims.

Good for the Aspire - but over time (give it 2-3 months) it too will settle in the same range or lower than the Amaze/XCent but still sell more than the Zest.

Please do update your post - the Thar is a 4x4 NOT and AWD ! Also the Crde is by default a 4x4 and it is a variant available with the DI engine.

The fender extensions seem to have some minor changes, the side foot step is different( available as accessory), rear bumpers are not fixed and the frame for the canopy in the rear has a bend in it which is new. Didn't notice anything else.

Hi - What was the criteria used to define this list as successful ? :-). Even if sales numbers alone were used there are a lot of missing ones like the Wagon R, Bolero, Alto to name a few chart toppers.

I have to agree - its high time security of the real kind was set in place. Not stupid - for show security. I think more than just cameras its time to make more sophisticated methods of authentication/authorization used like Iris scanning and fingerprint recognition rather than relying on ID cards and badges. Same goes for online presence ( was sick of setting up different passwords for each online account).
