I think you're referring to parseInt since that makes sense rather than eval which should be avoided. If so, they still have to provide a string representation of the number in JSON which is what they are doing isn't it?

You can, of course, provide the string representation in bases higher than 10 such as base 64 which will then take up to 11 characters (for a 64 bit unsigned integer).

Check the Apache error log. In the logs folder of the MAMP folder. You
might have a typo in your httpd.conf .
